Synergy Weight Loss and Primary Care LLCManagement services organization

How it works

From first conversation to first paid claim. The sequence below is what we do; what your practice does is practise medicine.

Who we take on. Physician-owned weight loss, obesity medicine and primary care practices in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, whether already open or still being planned. Our operating plan is to support five to six client practices within five years.

Onboarding a practice

Timelines depend chiefly on payer credentialing, which is why we file it first and run everything else alongside it.

  1. Scoping and quote

We review the practice's providers, site, payer mix and existing systems, then return a written scope, a flat fee, an onboarding fee and a target opening date. Typically one to two weeks.

  2. Agreement and counsel review

The management services agreement is signed by the practice and by Synergy, each with its own counsel. The agreement fixes the fee, the scope, the term and the boundaries around clinical authority.

  3. Credentialing filed

Group and individual payer applications, CAQH, EDI, ERA and EFT enrollments are submitted in the first week. Commercial and government payer approval commonly runs 60 to 150 days, so nothing else waits on it.

  4. Systems and site build

EHR and practice management configuration, clearinghouse connection, laboratory account, phones, fax, scheduling, and any facility work or equipment purchase. Runs in parallel with credentialing.

  5. Staffing and training

We recruit and train the front desk and clinical support staff, run HIPAA and system training, and dry-run the schedule, check-in, documentation and charge capture workflow before opening.

  6. Open and stabilize

Doors open, marketing switches on, and we watch the first claim cycles closely — clean claim rate, denials, days in accounts receivable — with weekly reporting until the numbers settle, then monthly.

Who this fits

Physicians leaving employment

You want your own weight loss or primary care practice and none of the administrative buildout. We can have a site, systems, staff and payer enrollment in progress before your notice period ends.

Existing small practices

You are open and busy but losing revenue to denials, failed authorizations, aged receivables and lapsed credentialing. We take over the back office and report on what changes.

Physicians taking over a built clinic

We build and staff a location, then contract with a physician owner who takes it over and runs it as their own practice under a management agreement.

Talk to us before you sign a lease
